PRIDE AND SUCCESS.NOTHING LESS!!

Congratulations to the Calhoun Choir students selected for the TREBLE All-Region Choir: Victoria Varela, Natalie Mungia, Ayla Leonard, Calli Brown, Alexis Chandler, Jaycee Barnes, Gaby Morales, Savannah Lane and Kaylee Thompson.  Also, congratulations to the Choir students selected for the MIXED All-District Choir and continuing on to the MIXED Region Choir competition in December: Geraldine Tafolla, Paige Bonuz, Leslie Herrera, Magdalena Montenegro, Eryka Menchaca, Morgan Harkey, Jaydyn Loera and Zach McClellan.

The Horticulture Club will meet tomorrow after school in room V-13.

Juniors and seniors who have been given registration paperwork again, get your paperwork in asap so that we can clear you off of the after school detention.  Remember, that the day you turn it in is still considered an after school detention, you are not clear until the following day because the deadline to turn it in has passed.

Are you interested in becoming a team manager? Well you're in luck! Sandies Soccer is looking for 2 responsible and dedicated students to be our managers. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to keeping stats, recording games and shagging balls on game days if necessary. ATTENTION BOYS - IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PLAYING SOCCER AND REPRESENT OUR SCHOOL... There will be an INFORMATIVE SESSION ABOUT TRYOUTS on Monday November 30, at 3 30 pm in gym 1. Hope to see you there!

If you are interested in competing in the VFW Voice of Democracy Speech Contest, please come see Mrs. Wespesser in Room A119 in the freshman building. The VFW has extended the due date for the competition for one more week, so please sign up for the chance to win a scholarship to the school of your choice.

There will be a speech and debate meeting today at 3:30 in Mrs. Wespesser's room. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

Menu- Cheese, pepperoni or bbq chicken pizza, hamburger, chicken burger or spicy chicken burger, Thanksgiving meal  turkey and gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread stuffing, green been casserole, roll, fruits and milk.

Safety tip-When driving a vehicle, watch out for deer and other animals.  If you see an animal approaching, slow down and flash your lights repeatedly.  Dusk and dawn are particularly bad times for running into animals, so be on the lookout for them.
